In Guwahati,, Teenager Girl Molestation, attacked by a group
of 20 men became a cause of anger and criticism rock the state after Three days.
As per India times the city police have identified several
youths who molested a girl when she was returning home after attending a party
at a city bar located in the Post Office area and a search operation is on to
arrest all of them.
Guwahati police on Wednesday arrested three youths in connection with the
incident. A fourth suspect was arrested on Friday.“We have arrested three youths till now. We have information about some others involved in the incident on GS road on Monday night. Some of them are absconding,” said city SSP, AP Barua.
The arrested includes a contractual employee of Amtron, Assam government’s IT agency, Amarjyoti Kalita.
Activist and
Professor Dr Rakhee Kalita of the Cotton College has said that incidents
similar to the Guwahati mob molestation case have been happening in India for
the past few years.
